This course is run by the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at CPUT.

Instruction focuses on Journalism (Newspaper, Magazine and Internet) with some input on Creative Writing and Narrative Craft.

Lectures take place from 17h00 - 19h00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays for four months.

Students receive a manual. Tuition is given by Jean Knighton-Fitt and numerous guest lecturers in specialist fields.

Student progress is assessed through assignments during the course and a final exam.
The pass mark is 50%
Successful students receive a diploma and access to a press card.
